Gramercy Park, New York City. Gramercy Park is an actual park, located at the very bottom of Lexington Avenue (20th Street). There are three neighborhoods within named Union Square, Stuyvesant, and Flatiron, the other neighborhoods are mentioned more on the Flatiron page. Together, these neighborhoods make up the area below Midtown East and above East Village. This area is centrally located and home to some of New York's most residential streets and hippest restaurants and nightspots.
Gramercy Park consist of luxury residences, elaborate old brownstones. Rents in this prestigious neighborhood are NOT cheap, but you will not be disappointed. Union Square consist mostly of renovated apartment buildings some more luxurious than others, but all expensive. Rents are more reasonable as you move nearer the East Village. Stuyvesant Town rents are more reasonable, but less luxuries and a less central location.
Gramercy Park is bounded by 23rd street to the north, 14th street to the south, Park Avenue to the west and Second Avenue to the east (although the area between 2nd and 3rd avenues feels more like Murray Hill than Gramercy)
