ATALANTA BUILDING

Majestically soaring 17 stories above North Moore and Varick Street, The Atalanta Building is the latest commercial property to be converted into luxury residences in TriBeCa. This historic building, once home to the Merchants Refrigerating Company, has been transformed into 43 spacious loft condominium by 25 North Moore Street.

Innovative structural solutions were required to accomplish the $20 million conversion. Most notably, since the bulk of the building had no windows, its facade had to be cut and windows installed. This required close coordination of schematic designs for the building, structural framing and mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings.
